In the intro of the song it is very musical, this means I will focus the camera work mainly of the instruments. When the singer eventually does start, I will use cameras that are mainly on the singer.
The start of this song is mainly the bass, I will focus the cameras mainly of the bassist then. When the singer eventually comes in I will have a close up of the singers face. All of the instruments start to eventually join in one by one. Each time an instrument comes in I will cut to it.
This song is also very up beat so I will just flick straight to another shot without using all of the special transitions. Ill also change cameras quite quickly, hopefully on time swell
Last Christmas
First i will start out by filming the instrumental. mainly the piano and drums, depending on which type of cover they do and which instruments the use. when the vocals come in i will focus fully on just the singers face for the first couple of seconds then eventually will start to focus more on the rest of the band. when the chorus kicks in i will start off with a full shot from the “safety” camera then eventually start to focus more on individual instruments. I also may use some crossfades because it is a slow song.
Dancing Queen
This song is a lot more up beat compared to Last Christmas. I won’t use crossfades and just use proper cuts. I will try and cut in time to the beat to get more of a feel that its part of the song. The start of the song is instrumental so i will focus more on the instruments. Like in last christmas, when the singers come in i will focus mainly on them then gradually start moving the cameras around the band again.
