This example of using the glide cam is in Atonement, set in Dunkirk. Filming big, long shots like this is something that id like to try out for myself, tracking either people walking or maybe if I’m ever doing a biking video, using the glide cam to follow the bike up a hill.

It’s set in Dunkirk, but the film is Atonement! More than that — say something about it, Matthew. Using your knowledge of steadicam and camera movements, make some judgements about the sequence. Why shoot it in one take? What were the challenges?
